Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

With full hearts and thoughtful planning in mind, we kindly ask that you RSVP by September 1, 2026.

Where will the celebrations take place?

Our wedding festivities will unfold in the heart of New Orleans—a city rich with history, music, and romance. Ceremony Location: St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church Reception Location: The Josephine

What is the dress code?

Black tie encouraged —elegant, timeless, and ready for an evening of beauty and celebration.

What should I expect from the weather?

New Orleans in October brings warmth, soft air, and a touch of southern humidity. Lightweight fabrics and breathable silhouettes are recommended, with a wrap for the evening hours.

Will the celebration be indoors or outdoors?

Our evening will be mostly indoors, but our venue does offer a courtyard for you to enjoy as well.

Where should I stay?

We’ve curated a selection of preferred hotels for your stay in New Orleans. Hotel blocks are available at the Hotel Monteleone, The Higgins Hotel, and Wyndham French Quarter.

Please visit the Travel page for accommodations and booking details.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation will be provided for guests staying at one of our three hotel blocks. We also recommend using Uber or Lyft for ease of travel throughout the weekend.

Is parking available?

Due to the charm and bustle of the city, rideshare or car services are often the most seamless option.

May I bring a guest?

We are so grateful to celebrate with each of you. Due to space considerations, we are only able to accommodate those guests listed on your invitation.

Are children invited?

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only evening unless otherwise noted.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes prior to the ceremony, allowing time to settle in comfortably.

Will there be a second line?

Of course—no New Orleans celebration would be complete without one. Following the ceremony, we invite you to join us in a joyful second line through the streets.

What is a second line?

A treasured New Orleans tradition, the second line is a spirited parade led by live brass music—where guests dance, wave handkerchiefs, and celebrate together in motion.

What food and drinks will be served?

The evening will feature a thoughtfully curated menu inspired by the flavors of New Orleans, along with cocktails and champagne to carry us through the night.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence is truly the greatest gift. For those who wish to give, our registry can be found on the Registry page.
